About us

The Elms Residential Care Home has 34 male and female residents. The home has been converted and extended to accommodate the needs of all our residents. We are located in the centre of Sutton Village and are extremely close to the local shops which include a post office and village shop.

The Manager of The Elms is Sue Rollinson, a Registered General Nurse who has 21 years nursing experience which includes working on a medical elderly ward for five years. After working in many varied specialities, Sue eventually became a Ward Sister where her personal philosophy and priority was always on providing and maintaining excellent care for her patients. Sue has carried this philosophy into our residential home where she prides herself in running a team that place all residents care needs and personal choices as paramount.

Sue is supported by an experienced, caring team who undergo a rigorous training and supervision programme, which ensures they are qualified to deliver high standards of care at all times. Our commitment to staff development and first-rate care delivery has been recognised by the Quality Development Scheme which we acquired in 1994 and have maintained ever since. We have also achieved investors in people status.
